at the start of 09 i will be starting work on the vl and after a talk with Errol iv decided it gonna be a bit of a sleeper. il pull out the rear seats and most sound deadening not to much weight reduction, ill rebuild the motor with stronger internals and a new or rebuilt turbo. the ran a 12.5 and had 350rwhp. im hopeing for mid to low elevens maybe even a high ten. ill update with pics as it goes on.

Awesome. Will this be a new job or are you rebuilding the old VL? (I don't remember what happened to it... as in if it was repairable or not)

no im getting a new shell its gonna look like a grandma car. no nice paint or rims just plates saying "idwaxu"

i know. im thinking ill get rid of the rear seats but im not sure if i then have to get a mod plate, or re register it as a two seaster

Both. You have to remove the rear seat belts too, then get it plated, then you can register it as a 2-seater (epic reduction in rego cost Smiley )

I'm 99% sure I'm right. 1% uncertain about the mod plate...
