The old R31, yeah I took that and got a 15.9 which wasnt bad for the old rb30 with about 250,000ks on it at the time. Ripped a nice little skid on the pad too... just for shits and giggles

Havent taken the soarer down... not really keen to either... I know its slow... no point proving it hahaha

when the 1j is in the cressi im hopin for a high 13 on 16psi.

I met a dude with a cressi that had new front mount, 3500 stally, 16psi boost, and ran 12.8. thats it. nothing else.

how awsum would it be to be able to beat most cars out there with a cressida.
(maybe i should get my bigger whip out and make them midgets in my gearbox work harder)

Well my car is back on the road now so I'm keen to get a "before" time. I'll be slowest there without a doubt but I still want the number Cheesy lol.

Just take your plates off when you leave and make sure you've got enough petrol to outrun them Cheesy

i ran my car down over a year ago straight after the rb20 went in

it went 13.7 at 105mph. with about 2.2 60foot, only did 2 passes so there was room for improvement.

it hasnt been back yet but with the new turbo etc im hoping ill run easy mid/low 12.s but i also gotta take it easy on the weak rb20 gearbox  Sad

Well I won't be getting a "before" time now, with the 18LE being 'sploded. Looking forward to running it when the SR's in though...

Id be keen to bring the corona down to see what it would get on a 1/4...
Stock as a rock, ill race any other celica's that might be there. I might get a 17sec 1/4 ? maybe  Smiley

I remember seeing a TV episode of some car show, and they completely stripped the fuck out of a Corona Wagon, they ripped the roof off, basically everything except for what made it move/steer. Left the drivers seat in it than replaced with a milk crate, and only than it pulled something like a 17second pass

True true, well that being an older style corona with the old 2.4L engine i would have assumed?

My car has a 3S-GE engine, same specs as the N/A MR2 from Japan. Fly wheel - 112kw, bout 80kw at the wheels.

Might not do too badly, but has a dodgy clutch in it at the moment.

Am currently driving a turbo'd celica with the 3S-GTE in it, needs work, but should be a little better for the drags.

Well the way I see it.. even if the car has done a 10 sec pass with someone that really knows what they are doing driving.. if an amatuer gets into the car and their launch is crap, response time is crap and they miss a gear or two.. obviously the car wont be used to its full potential..

that really gos for any type of driving be it rally, tarmac, drag, drift

but yes drag is boring anyone can put foot to the floor and hold the wheel straight but is fun to take ya car out and lay a patch peel out full noise and cant get booked woohoo

i took the datto out it fouled two plugs and ran a 16.7 cant member mph???
so pretty happy with that

took my old VS daily out cause it was a quite night out there and thought fuk yeah!!!
did a mid 16 didn pay much attention just wanted to run against the VL wgn that was there haha he got waxed he had mods and my VS was a stocka  hahaha

took the cali turbo down once.

ran 14.4 with a 2.2 60ft and a boost leak.

since then, boost leak was fixed, and upped. rolling road comparisons with a mates 180sx would have it in the 13.7 mark. that car has since been sol  Cry

astra i think should run a high 14 (14.7/8ish)

n/a cali, once finished, should be low 14s. but its being built for circuit, not drag.

Did a 13.6 with a turbo intake pipe completely off on one side  Grin
