Flywheel machining

Anyone know where I should go for it? How much it should cost? Anyone have any good/bad experiences they'd like to tell me about (pls)? Any reason I can't just stick it on a lathe and go to town on it with some wet-n-dry?

i did my own on the HD. use a wide flat disc sander (i cant remember what sandpaper i used, think it was around 200) and move it around at a constant rate. dont leave it in one spot for too long. you want to get all the smooth or shiney spots off of it. hope that helps you out a lil.

I wouldn't be confident doing it myself TBH. As much as I know how to use a sander I'd be worried I'd end up cocking it up. If I get a reputable shop to do it I can be confident it's been done properly and won't slip
. Thanks for the tip tho
