Head Unit - Alpine CDA-9887 incl. KTX-100EQ IMPRINT Tuning Kit
Front Stage - Alpine SPX-17REF Type X Reference Series
Rear Stage - Alpine Type S 6.5" 3 Ways. Normally turned off.
Sub - Alpine Type S 12" in Pre-Fab Northfield box
Amp - Alpine MRP-F600 4 x 150w. Feeding Splits via factory X-Over, and 2 bridged to sub
All Stinger cabling, All doors and boot Dynamatted.
All cabling run through factory locations for ultimate in stealth look.
Tweeters fibreglassed into factory grill locations for complete stealth look.
1st Place at 2008 State Final for MEA (Mobile Electronics Australia) SQ Competition in Novice class.
Future plans are to throw in an Eclipse Z1200 amp and 2 x SW-8000 Eclipse subs. Pure SQ Subs in small sealed boxes trimmed in factory holden carpet with a hidden amp rack on the parcel shelf. Ultimate in stealth while maintaining complete use of spare tyre well, and ski port. By adding another amp, i can then switch the system over to purely active and isolate the rear speakers completely. Come tax time next year, bring on the Focal K3P's. That will also mean more in the way of fibreglass work to maintain a factory look to the car.
