So I installed new Firefox. Version 3.5. It seems largely similar to Firefox 3.0x but without the bug and crash and incompatibility that plagued every 3.0x version. It's so good to be off 2.0.0.20 now Grin

Also it supports open video format, which means (theoretically) we will start to see the end of annoying video player plugin and flash site that don't work, et cetera. The coding for handling video is built straight into the browser, assuming the video in question is designed and coded to be played that way. It's an exciting time to has the interwebz.

Anyone else using it? Thought, opinion?

I've been on 3.5.1 for a bit now Tongue Lol. I haven't found any issues with it, and I didn't really find any issues with previous versions either.

However, when I have youtube, or other flash video things open, my mouse (logitech G5) tends to freeze up in spots as in it glitches around the screen with the window open.

Does it happen when you watch flv's in something like flv player, or only in Firefox? What about viewing the same site's in IE8?

And yeah not everyone had fails with FF3.0x but many, many people did. It even updated itself automatically for me once after I clicked "no" on the update dialog :s

Same issue with IE, just tried viewing some anime I got from ages ago (flv files) and they seem to work fine. Though it was working fine before I formatted, had a similar problem before but forgot how i resolved it.

If you have the same issue with IE it's probably a case of reinstalling Flash, updating it or updating your GPU drivers.
